Today, I'm taking a different approach. Mainly because my brain is burnt out from working on my novel (my deadline is in less than a month...!), so I am taking it to the poetic side tonight.

Happy V-Day 2013
Happy Overbearing Romantic Feelings Day!!! As you might have learned last year, I'm not a big fan of all the candy, chocolate, hearts, and sappy cards. Okay, that's a lie, I like the chocolate part. But as for the other ones... I prefer to get down and lovin' on my lover all year long. With chocolate all year, too.
So here, as following in the footsteps of last year, is a rather muted poem. It's about love, don't get me wrong, but... well, read it for yourself!

An Early Christmas Present
I can say my hands are quivering in excitement with this post. A project, long in the making and quick in the process, has finally been completed, and just in time for the Holidays.
Is the cheerful, gift-giving and charitable season suffocating you? Feel free to smother the good will of man with this early gift!

Update on Myself ; My Hidden Reality
Hi! Yeah, I'm still alive. Kind of, more or less, sort of. I've been super-busy with working, organizing, and just trying to find time to eat, let alone update!
But I do have some new things for you to read, some poetry I've written recently. I can't remember if I put up my older poems (I'll have to go check on that) but these more recent pieces have gotten good responses so far.
Here is my newest addition (I'll work backwards from this point!), My Hidden Reality. It's safe for most readers, nothing too offensive aside from my usual dark thoughts.
But I do have some new things for you to read, some poetry I've written recently. I can't remember if I put up my older poems (I'll have to go check on that) but these more recent pieces have gotten good responses so far.

Poem - Watching
I wrote this last fall, not very light-hearted at all either! None of my poetry is uplifting or lighthearted, but this is definitely more disturbing than I usually write. Enjoy!

Second Chances
Poetry is something I tend to not share often among my peers. The reason is because it tends to be rather morbid for their tastes. A couple co-workers love it though, so they often are the receivers of my rather ill-taste work. Since I do not see any of you on a regular basis, you can have a taste too.
