A Final Glance: No More Games

This morning I received my copy of the Torrid Publishing magazine, which held the winners of the writing contest I entered. I placed 2nd in the contest, and have been anticipating this day for, well, days!

I am very pleased to have done as well as I did, as for being the first contest they held, there were over thousands of submissions. Thousands! Makes placing 2nd seem more surreal...!

Thank you everyone for being supportive and helpful during this time. Especially Ro Mae, you're the one who pushed me over the edge into submitting. Without your influence, I'd still be dreaming and wishing, and not doing.

Touching Base: No More Games

Lo and behold, today I went to check my email and found a message labeled "Re: No More Games."  Clicking it open, I began to read the message.

Weddings; Vinny Takes a Bride

Today, my only brother is getting married. Right as this is being posted, to be precise.  I hate weddings, in general, and I am quite glad I only have to go to the reception. But with weddings on the brain, I decided to look more into what it means to bind yourself to a single person for the rest of your existence, or at least until you decide to sign the divorce papers.

Now, if you have read No More Games, then you should already be familiar with Vinny and Alice. But a new face pops up, and things are a bit twisted behind the scenes. So, enjoy!
